Friday afternoons

Today I received my first subscriber copy of ELLE magazine. It is safe to say I am super excited to be receiving this at my doorstep each month, to get the exclusive news and events through ELLEInsider. I have loved ELLE for years now and I even created my final project at Uni around a special ELLE issue. This has probably been a long time coming to be a subscriber and I am grateful for this Christmas gift.

Now to relax, read my magazine, have a cuppa and enjoy a peaceful Friday afternoon. Happy weekend everyone x

SS15 Work Wardrobe

Working for Next has it's advantages: a generous work wardrobe allowance for one. Choosing an outfit to take me through SS15 can be challenging when it's still sub-zero temperatures outside in the morning. But this dress turned out to be a pretty clean cut choice.

As you may have gathered from some of my posts and lots of tweets, I'm a tennis fanatic. I love watching all the Grand Slams and ATP world tour series. I'm also an admirer of the tennis style, especially the women's outfits which they collaborate with designers. Caroline Wozniackis' dress choices designed by Stella McCartney for Adidas are always my most anticipated outfit to see at the championships.

So my pick of dress this season for work is a homage for my love of sports style dressing, a smart tennis dress which makes me feel like I could walk out on centre court at any moment. The dress is made of two components, so it does look almost like a skirt and top combined, in classic grey and white it can be mixed with accessories and colour throughout the season. A hint of yellow on the shoulders makes it feel fresh and the cut of the dress is flattering and stylish. I'll be pairing mine with tights for now during these chilly days, but hope to be able to wear it with some block heels and a bright clutch bag during the summer evenings.

Chantelle launch their first Sports Bra and join forces with Surrey Storm Netball

This season Chantelle Lingerie are launching their first sports bra. With over 150 years of expertise in the lingerie business it's safe to say that this sports bra is made to the highest quality.

Chantelle is dedicated to creating lingerie which is beautiful and functional, it takes pride in it's fitting service to make sure that you are wearing the right size bra. The importance of wearing the correct bra for everyday and for fitness is to give you the support you need, to prevent damage to the breast and to prevent pain and discomfort.

Wednesday night Chantelle unveiled their sports bra at Surrey Sports Park in Guildford. They are the new sponsors of the Surrey Storm Netball Team and what better way to celebrate this collaboration then by hosting an evening of fittings, drinks and a presentation by the Chantelle team to enlighten women about how sport can effect your bust.

I was delighted to be part of the Chantelle team to help the event run smoothly and hear the women's views on our sports bra; and yes the women felt supported, comfortable and stylish in the bra. So get yourself ready to start this year right, keep fit and healthy and be supported along the way in Chantelle's Sports bra.

It's 2015

New Year Resolutions

I decided that rather than create a list of what I will stop eating and start doing I would create a visual board. This board is here to inspire and encourage me, rather than shouting at myself when I have a hangover and need a McDonalds or when I skip a gym session because I'd rather be in bed watching Revenge. There's no need to punish myself for not following a unrealistic list.

So 2015 is all about 'This is the year' to enjoy, to celebrate, to travel, to be fit and healthy on my terms. It is also the year to challenge myself and find that dream job. Wish me luck!

What is your New Year Resolution?
